Honestly, Rin doesn’t care as much about Yukio as he does about Yoichi. He does feel resentment towards Yukio for taking Sae’s attention, and considers him at fault for him and sae’s falling out. But mainly, in Rin’s eyes, Yukio is just another obstacle he needs to overcome in order to become the best striker (and to gain Sae’s approval) IMO, the person is who he’s most affected by is Yoichi, who’s basically living Rin’s dream. Sae actually talks to Yoichi because he wants to leave a good impression with Yukio’s family, and that increases Rin’s jealousy regarding Yoichi even more, because now, not only is Yoichi better than him at soccer/his rival, but his brother seems to prefer some “randoms” younger brother over his own biological brother—if that makes sense.

Honestly I think it would be an Alpha x Alpha relationship 🤔🤔 I know a lot of people consider Sae as an omega/they enjoy omega Sae, but I deadass can’t see it. I consider them either Alpha (Yukio) x Beta (Sae) or Alpha X Alpha. Maybe I’ll consider Yukio getting bitched and turned into an omega but that’s only in the bunyuki (bunny x yukio) dynamic. Sae would probably have more common ruts than Yukio, as Y’s previous traumas definitely messed with his cycles, but S would probably take suppressants to align more with Y if that makes sense. S would probably be the more submissive alpha in the relationship though, cs he’s always folding whenever Y’s around TLDR; Yukio and Sae = alphas
